“Annual Memorial Day Services” in Winchester, Tennessee



Once again this year’s services will be held at the “Franklin Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum” which is located on the Winchester to Cowan (TN) Highway (next to the new Food City Food Store).

The services begin promptly at 10:00 AM on Monday, 30 May 2022!

Along with the line up of “Guest Speakers” we will be honored with the Winchester American Legion Community Band, who will be entertaining the attendees with Patriotic songs.

Sergeant 1st Class Michael D. Foster, US Army/ Retired will be the OIC (Officer In Charge) of the services.

It would be helpful for you to bring along a lawn chair OR two, just in case you will need to be seated.

Two of our local Ladies Groups, (1) Franklin County Federated Republican Women, Sheila M. Williams/ President & (2) The United Daughters of the Confederacy, General Kirby-Smith Chapter # 327 (Sewanee, TN); will be preparing and serving refreshments to OUR Military Veterans and their families.
