Department of Louisiana 2024 State Convention

The 2024 State Convention of the DAV, Department of Louisiana is to be held on May 16-19, 2024, at The Double Tree Hotel, Kenner, LA. Room rates are as follows: $124.00 per night plus applicable tax for a Single and $124.00 per night plus applicable tax for a Double. (Cash or Credit Card only) A free buffet breakfast is also included for those registered. To help ensure you get the accommodation you desire, particularly in case you have special needs, make your reservations early and confirm your reservations a few days prior to arriving at the Conference.

Reservations must be received by the Hotel on or before the Cut-Off Date Of April 14, 2023. All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Please advise the Hotel that you are with DAV when making your reservations and specify the dates that you are using.

Also attached is the REGISTRATION FORM for the State Convention. Registration Fees are $40.00 each for PREPAID ONLY ($5.00 Late Fee is to be added on all Registrations NOT prepaid.) Jr. Member Registration Fees are $20.00 each for PREPAID ONLY ($5.00 Late Fee is to be added on all Registrations NOT prepaid.) Banquet Tickets are $50.00 each and must be purchased with Pre-Registration. Please fill out the form completely with the information requested since all is needed to process the Registration properly. If Registration is not received or postmarked prior to the suspense date, Registration Form and checks will be returned for the $5.00 late fee. Please return the form to Department Headquarters on or before Friday, April 14, 2023.
